Coaching Tools

Coaching is a difficult job. For most of us it's not a job, it's a volunteer activity that requires a lot of time and effort on our own time. This section of the site is devoted to try and help you out by providing tools that can help you get organized, share ideas, ask questions, and hopefully improve your coaching experience while saving time.

Choose only the best baseball bats used by the pros and experience that winning edge!

I expect this section to grow each season. If you would like to see something added, please make a request by sending an e-mail to don@qcbaseball.com.

Code of Ethics

The National Alliance for Youth Sports has a certificate program for coaches and parents. Even if they don't offer the training in your area, the code of ethics for coaches is listed on the web site. You might find it useful to print out and discuss with parents during your first meeting with them. In addition to giving them specific expectations about their behavior, it also will provide you an opportunity to talk about your coaching philosophy and how you plan on running the team. You can use the link below to get to the code of ethics from the nays.org web site.
